What We Believe God - We believe in the Blessed Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (1 John 5:6-8; Isaiah 43:10-11) Deity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God - We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He lived a sinless life, that He was fully man and fully God here on earth, and that when He died on the Cross it was a FINISHED work. When He said it was "finished," it WAS finished. After He died, He rose from the dead in bodily form, and His exaltation to the right hand of the Father. (Matt 1:23; 1 Peter 2:21-22:;1 Cor 15:3-4; 2 Cor 5:21; John 19:30; Acts 1:9) Fall of Man - We believe that man was created with the gift of "free will." In the Garden, Adam and Eve, with that free will chose to disobey God. And through that disobedience, sin entered the world. And now we are all in need of repentance and have our sins forgiven through Jesus Christ! (Romans 5:12, 19; Romans 3:23) Plan of Redemption - We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He died for all of Humanity, and took our punishment that we deserved upon Himself by the shedding of His precious Blood. That He purchased salvation for those who believe in Him. That when Jesus said "It is Finished," the price had been paid, ON the Cross. That man's ONLY hope for redemption is found in the Cross of Christ through the Blood of Jesus Christ. (Matt 1:23; John 19:30; Luke 24:1-12; John 3:16; Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 2:24; Col 2:14; Hebrews 10:6-18) Word of God - We believe that the Holy Bible, consisting of the 39 Books of the Old Testament, and the 27 Books of the New Testament are the truly inspired Word of God. We believe it to be both authoritative and the final rule of faith. This ministry teaches and preaches ONLY from the Authorized King James Version. And does not see other translations as useful, but harmful. (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16) Water Baptism - We believe those who have been born again should be baptized in water by FULL immersion in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Though baptism does not save us, it is an outward expression of an inward confession and transformation. Through baptism, we confirm that Jesus is the Lord of our lives. (Matt 28:19; Mark 16:15-18) Baptism in the Holy Ghost - We believe the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is separate from salvation, thus follows the New Birth experience. We do not believe that the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is essential to ones salvation, only that they are entitled to receive it. And therefore should seek the promise of the Father. We believe the initial sign of the Baptism in the Holy Ghost is evidenced by the speaking in other tongues as the Holy Ghost give the audible expression. Ones individual prayer language is separate from the Gift of Tongues. We also believe what Jesus Himself taught us, that when the Holy Ghost comes UPON us, we shall receive POWER. ( Mark 16:16-17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 8:12-17) Gifts of the Spirit - We believe in the nine Gifts of the Spirit. We believe that the Spirit chooses to flow within these gifts to BOTH edify the Church and to Glorify Christ. Therefore, this ministry chooses to flow in these gifts as the Spirit permits. All for the Glory of Almighty God! And also for the edification of the Body of Christ. (1 Cor 12:1-11) Sanctification - Sanctification is an act of separation from that which is evil or worldly, and a dedication unto God. The Scriptures teach a life of "holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord." By the Power of the Holy Ghost we are able to obey the command: "Be ye holy; for I am Holy." Sanctification is realized in the believer by recognizing his identification with Christ in His death and resurrection, and by offering every faculty continually to the domain of the Holy Ghost. (Rom 12:1-2; 1 Thess 5:23; Rom 8:1-2; Gal 2:20; Phil 2:12-13; 1 Pet 1:5) Marriage and Sexuality - We believe that because God our Creator established marriage as sacred between one natural-born man and one natural-born woman, the idea that marriage is a covenant only between one man and one woman has been the traditional definition of marriage for all of human history since the beginning of time. Therefore, we believe that any form of sexual immorality, such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, bisexuality conduct, bestiality, incest, pornography, or any attempt to change one's sex, or disagreement with one's biological sex, is sinful and offensive to both the Word of God and to God Himself. We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ will find His Grace! We believe that in order to preserve the integrity of the Church as the Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model, it is imperative that all persons employed by this ministry in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, will abide by and agree to this ministries Marriage and Sexuality standard and conduct themselves accordingly. (Gen 2:18-24; Matt 19:4-6; Eph 5:25-31; 1 Cor 6:9-11) The Blessed Hope - We believe that the Rapture of the Body of Christ is imminent. That no one knows the exact time of His return. At that time, the Lord will descend from heaven, the dead in Christ will rise FIRST, and all believers that remain that are alive will be taken up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This will be a visible return. (1 Thess 4:16-17; Acts1:9-11) |
